Objectives

• To equip students with the skills in designing and making to guide them as a future designer, engineer and maker;
• To design and make workpieces by different hand tools and manually operated machines;
• To use Computer Aided Design (CAD) software for drawing parts and fabricate parts using the 3D printer, the laser cutter and other machineries;
• To apply Mathematics and Science theories in designing projects; and
• To foster the creativity of students and increase their confidence in facing challenges and solving problems.
