Objectives
	- To develop students' ability to collate economic data to examine and interpret evidence to explain social patterns and events with the use of different economic tools;
 
	- To develop generic skills such as communication skills, problem-solving skills and critical thinking skills through enquiry into economic issues and controversies;
 
	- To enable students to apply economic knowledge to a variety of problems and issues in a range of economic contexts; and
 
	- To develop values and attitudes so that students may participate as informed persons in the discussion of economic issues and decision making.
