Chinese Food Culture Week and Student Culinary Competition

Yiu Tin Yan (S.3C) and Li Ching Yan (S.3D) won the Merit Award in the "Chinese Food Culture Week and Student Culinary Competition" of "Care for Home and Country" for the 2023/24 school year. The competition was co-organised by the Hong Kong Direct Subsidy Scheme Schools Council, the Jockey Club Government Secondary School, and the Arts and Technology Education Centre. The students designed a creative traditional Cantonese dish called "Inverted Glutinous Rice Chicken", using the designated ingredient, chicken - to highlight the cultural significance of Cantonese cuisine in relation to food.
