On 26 October 2026, our school was deeply honoured to welcome the officers from the Hong Kong Garrison of the Chinese People's Liberation Army to deliver a national defence education lecture for all S.1 to S.3 students. The lecture was informative and inspiring, receiving an enthusiastic response from the students.

The event gave students a profound appreciation of how hard-won peace is, prompting them to reflect on the arduous journey of the nation's modern development. It also deepened their understanding of the Communist Party of China's enduring mission to improve the lives of the people. Furthermore, students learned about the significant breakthroughs the country has achieved in national defence and military security. Through informative materials and engaging presentations, the officers helped our junior secondary students appreciate the strategic significance of modernising national defence, thereby strengthening their sense of national identity and patriotism.
