Our Visual Arts Department recently participated in the 'Design for Innovation' Teacher Professional Learning Community, organised by the Education Bureau. The initiative provides students with hands-on experience of a complete, end-to-end design process using 'Design Thinking' principles.

Aligned with our school's values education, the Visual Arts Department collaborated with the Department of Chinese History under the theme 'Good Chinese Character'. Through this interdisciplinary project, S.1 students designed Flurry toys representing historical Chinese figures known for their moral integrity, alongside custom blind box packaging.

Guest fashion designer Ms Yip Yeung Yeung was invited to lead the sessions. Under her guidance, students visited Sham Shui Po to select suitable fabrics, learned how to draft paper patterns, and brought their final products to life.
