2026-01-24 Jan, 2026On 24 January 2026, the Geography Department organised a Life-wide Learning Field Trip for all Secondary 1 students to a farm in Fanling.
Designed to complement the curriculum unit on "Food Problems”, this excursion provided students with a valuable opportunity to step outside the classroom. By observing local farming practices firsthand, students were able to connect textbook theories with real-world agricultural challenges.
The trip successfully deepened their understanding of food production and the hard work involved in agriculture. It was a productive day of experiential learning, allowing students to broaden their horizons and apply their geographical knowledge in a practical setting.
