On 23 October 2025, we successfully hosted our first CDG Forum of the year, tackling the controversial topic of whether pet dogs should be allowed inside restaurants under the proposed new licensing scheme.

The forum featured a diverse panel of speakers, including representatives from the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department (FEHD), pet owners, restaurant customers, and owners of alfresco dining establishments.

Students actively engaged with the various perspectives presented, demonstrating their enthusiasm and critical thinking skills. This forum not only encouraged multifaceted thinking but also highlighted the importance of considering all viewpoints on community issues, fostering a rich dialogue that left participants both inspired and informed.
