On 17th August, six students (S.5C Cheung Ka Ying, S.5C Tse Uen Ki Winki, S.5C Wong Kwan Ho, S.5D Chan For Hiu, S.5D Ho Leong Chak Anson, and S.5D Wong Yat Hei) participated in the "Hong Kong Polytechnic University Social Innovation Competition 2024," organised by the Department of Applied Social Sciences at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. The students focused on the theme of "Convenience House," aiming to connect elderly individuals living alone with young people, thereby providing seniors with more community connections.
The students underwent a five-month journey through the preliminary and final rounds, emerging as one of the top ten schools among over seventy teams and ultimately winning third place in the finals. We are grateful to God for allowing the students to take the initiative to participate in various activities and experience the joy of receiving recognition.
