Our students, Daniel Chan and Jeremy Wong, participated in the “Greater Bay Area Youth Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity Challenge” organised by the Cyber Security and Technology Crime Bureau of the Hong Kong Police Force last week. The competition, which included a final round and an award ceremony held during the carnival, aimed to enhance the cybersecurity awareness and digital literacy of young people. Over a thousand high school students from local, Macau, and Greater Bay Area cities took part in this event.
The participants were required to design artificial intelligence solutions that would improve the quality of life for citizens and ensure network security. The competition was fierce, with teams presenting innovative ideas and showcasing their technical skills. After an intense competition, a joint team comprising our students and students from Cheung Chuk Shan College, CCC Mong Man Wai College emerged as the champion of the Hong Kong region and the overall champion in the Greater Bay Area.
