06 Jul, 2025The History Scholar Training Scheme 2024/25 aims to provide participants with the opportunity to engage in various historical research activities. While acquiring relevant cognitive skills, the programme actively fosters their interest in historical and cultural topics. Through lectures, field trips, artifact tours, and curatorial practices, students will gain firsthand experience with different historical and cultural elements.
S.2C Chan Cheuk Lam, S.2C Lau Hiu Nam, and S.2C Mak Hiu Tung are also fortunate to participate in the final exhibition, where they share their research topics and outcomes. Notably, they achieved commendable results in the Intangible Cultural Heritage category, including the following awards: Team 2nd Runner-Up (Excellent Scholar Award), Team Best Participation Award, Individual Chinese Cultural Heritage Ambassador Award, and Best Individual Presenter Award. This competition allows students to integrate different elements of history into contemporary life, reflecting that the study of history is no longer confined to the classroom and demonstrating their ability to effectively narrate historical stories through diverse presentation methods.
