The 42nd Hong Kong Mathematical Olympiad (HKMO) Heat and Final Rounds for the 2024/25 academic year took place on February 8, 2025, and April 26, 2025, respectively. The aim of this mathematical competition is to develop students' mathematical abilities and cultivate their interest in mathematics. On February 8, 2025, six Secondary 5 students from our school participated in the HKMO Heat Round. Honourably, we ranked among the top fifty teams with the highest scores in the Heat Round, which allowed us to advance to the Final Round held on April 26, 2025, at The Education University of Hong Kong. Our students S.5D Wong Cheuk Wing and S.5D Sze Chun Wang achieved Second-class Honors in the Heat Round, and the team won a merit award in the Final.
