Our school sent one junior and one senior team of students to participate in a STEAM robotics competition named the Hong Kong Tech Challenge 2024 – 2025, held on 7-9 February 2025. The competition was jointly organised by the Asian Robotic League Fund, the Hong Kong Productivity Council, and the Innovation and Technology Commission.
The junior team consisted of seven Secondary 2 students (S.2D Choy Shing Yui, S.2D Hui Sin Ching, S.2C Tang Hiu Ching, S.2C Wong Lok Hei, S.2A Ho King Him) and four Secondary 1 students (S.1C Ho Mei Yu, S.1C Lau Kwan Yin, S.1D Tsang Wing Sum, S.1D Kwai Pak Hei).
The junior team won the Design Award (3rd runner-up) and will represent Hong Kong at the VEX Robotics World Championship in Texas, USA, in May 2025.
The senior team comprised five Secondary 5 students (S.5D Wong Yik Chung, S.5D Wong Cheuk Wing, S.5D Cheng Lok Hang, S.5D Lee Lok In, S.5D Chan Hoi Lam), two Secondary 4 students (S.4D Chan Sze Lam, S.4D Lai Hei Tung), and three Secondary 3 students (S.3C Cheang Yin Lok, S.3C Li Hin Yui, S.3B So Cheuk Lam). The senior team won the Sportsmanship Award.
